Privacy Policy

NotaryOps is a local-first iPhone app for organizing a notary's business operations. ASHVUN does not operate an account system or backend for NotaryOps and does not receive the business records you enter in the app.

Information you enter

You may choose to enter jobs, appointment details, client and signer contact information, addresses, fees, manually recorded payment status and method, mileage, checklist items, notes, and profile settings. This information is stored in the NotaryOps app container on your device.

NotaryOps has no dedicated fields for identification images or identification numbers and is not designed for storing them. Free-form notes are available, so only enter information you need and are permitted to keep.

No developer collection or tracking

NotaryOps does not include developer-operated accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking, cloud sync, or a third-party backend. The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, photos, location, contacts, or calendar.

Device backups

Although NotaryOps does not provide its own cloud service, data stored in the app may be included in encrypted Finder, iTunes, or iCloud device backups when you enable and use those Apple services. Those backups are governed by your Apple settings and Apple's terms.

User-directed exports and handoffs

You can choose to export CSV files, a Receipt / Job Summary PDF, a plain-text summary, or a NotaryOps backup through Apple's share sheet. You can also choose a local backup file to preview or restore. After you direct an export to another app, service, person, or storage location, that destination's privacy practices apply.

When you tap an external action, NotaryOps may hand a saved phone number, email address, street address, or HTTPS website to Apple's Phone, Messages, Mail, Maps, Safari, or the selected system app. These actions occur only after you choose them. ASHVUN does not receive the information.

Security and retention

NotaryOps uses iOS complete file protection for its main local data file. User-directed backup files include an integrity check intended to detect alteration; this is not encryption. Exported or copied files remain wherever you choose to save or send them.

You can remove demo data or clear all NotaryOps data from Settings. Deleting the app removes its app-container data, subject to any separate device backups or files you previously exported.

Children

NotaryOps is a business-operations utility and is not directed to children.

Product limits

NotaryOps does not perform notarizations, provide legal or tax advice, verify identity, provide remote online notarization, replace an official journal, or act as a government or commissioning authority.
