NotaryOps is a local-first iPhone organizer for notary jobs, clients, signers, checklists, mileage, fees, manually recorded payment status, reports, exports, and backups.

Your data

No account or sign-in is required. Your NotaryOps records are stored locally on your device. ASHVUN cannot view or recover those local records.

Back up before major changes

1. Open More → Backup & Restore.
2. Choose Export Backup File.
3. Save the file to a location you control.
4. Keep the backup until you have confirmed your records are intact.

Import shows a preview before restore. A restore replaces current NotaryOps records, and the app creates a pre-restore safety backup in its local storage first.

Exports and external actions

CSV, Receipt / Job Summary PDF, text-summary, and backup exports use Apple's share sheet. Call, text, email, Maps, and website actions open the relevant Apple system app. Availability can depend on your device setup and connectivity.

Deleting data

Settings includes separate controls for clearing demo data and clearing all NotaryOps data. Check the confirmation carefully: clearing all data also resets onboarding. Files you previously saved or shared outside NotaryOps must be managed at their destination.

Before reporting a problem

• Confirm you are using the current NotaryOps version available to you.
• Restart NotaryOps and, if needed, restart the iPhone.
• For share or external-app issues, confirm that the destination app is installed and configured.
• For an import issue, keep the original backup file unchanged and report the exact message shown by NotaryOps.

Product limits

NotaryOps is an organizational and business-recordkeeping utility. It does not perform notarizations, provide legal or tax advice, verify identity, provide remote online notarization, replace an official journal, or act as a government or commissioning authority.
